taking orders yet? We're getting closer to the day I will take orders again, and I foresee that it likely will be this year at some point. Looking at our activity one year ago, more knives are going out the door each week. We are actually ahead of where I thought we'd be by this time, thanks to my kick-ass team of Chris and Mark.
______________________________________________________ two knives for sale. Both knives are sold. From time to time, extra knives come up and it would be great to get them into someone's kitchen. I recognize that the knives up for auction have been selling at tremendous prices, and many people who have ordered years ago are patiently waiting for their knives. Thus, to find a middle ground when these extra knives come up, I will occasionally offer them for sale through our website. They will have a fixed price, and will be available through a Lottery system. To join the Lottery for either of the knives, send us an email that clearly indicates which one you are interested in. Make sure to include a contact phone number for notification if you win. Please keep in mind that if you choose to be included in both Lotteries, and by some strange chance we pull your name for both, it is expected that you would follow through with the purchase of both knives.

what of the CBS show? I am honored to have the amazing CBS team come to our little shop. They made it look so magical you know when you are in the day-to-day grind (literally), sometimes it's hard to keep in mind how special your environment and product. Click on the photos on the right for larger images. Click
here to see the CBS Morning Show segment on YouTube Thanks to all of you who placed bids in the auction of the CBS knives. I was humbled and flattered by the interest it generated. Because of your participation, we were able to donate $1600.00 to World Vision.

Kramer teeshirts & hats We made up a batch of teeshirts with a small logo in front, below the left shoulder, and Japanese lettering of "Kaisen" on the back. The cloth is very soft, made of Bamboo, the current 'green' clothing option. A simple translation of "Kaisen" is continuous improvement. It is also a theory-based model used by large corporations to constantly improve methods and work flow. By utilizing this concept in system development and management here at Kramer Knives, we have found that there has been much improvement in all aspects of operations. Although, being that we are artists, we've taken the liberty to create a definition reflective of our company's goal, which is the "relentless pursuit of excellence". Our hat choices are Baseball cap or Military style. Though both hats are "one size fits all", the Baseball cap tends to look better on a smaller head, and the Military-style looks better on a larger head.
If you have any questions regarding the teeshirts or hats, you are welcome to contact Chris in our office. (360) 455-4357 |
